Processing Data on Behalf of Our Clients
In many cases, we act as a data processor on behalf of our filming company partners, who are the data controllers. This means we process personal data only under their instructions. If you are an end user (for example, a wedding guest or couple) and have a question or request about your personal data, please contact the filming company you gave your data to. They control that data and will handle your rights request.
Data Destruction Policy
No Long-Term Storage of Raw Footage: We do not retain raw footage on our own systems. All video and audio files remain on external drives provided by the filming company, who retains ownership.
External Shuttle Drive Usage: When raw footage is provided via cloud storage, it is downloaded directly onto a dedicated external shuttle drive for the duration of editing. Once the project is finished, the drive is securely wiped and continually overwritten by future projects, ensuring no trace of original footage remains.
Data Retention: The final edited film is hosted solely for delivery to the film company. It remains on a cloud platform (e.g., Dropbox) for a maximum of two years, then deleted. No extra or unused content is kept.
Access Restrictions: Only individuals directly involved in editing have access to the provided footage. No raw media is shared with unaffiliated third parties.
Secure Destruction & Return of Drives: As editing concludes, cached footage is removed from editing systems. External drives (property of the filming company) are returned or repurposed by them.
Commitment to Confidentiality: We respect privacy and treat all material with discretion, producing the agreed film while ensuring ancillary files are securely deleted after editing.

How We Store Your Data

You have the right to: access, correct, delete (where lawful), restrict, object, and request portability of your data. If your data is part of footage or content we process for a client, contact that client (the controller) directly. We will only act on their written instructions.
